Randy Shoemaker

Randy Shoemaker is a results-oriented consumer marketing leader with a proven track record in driving profitable growth through strategic marketing planning and execution, innovative brand development, direct-to-consumer and retail channel growth, revenue generation, and empowering team leadership for companies ranging from large-scale corporations to fast-paced startup environments.

Currently, Randy is the Chief Marketing Officer at Eastern Standard Provisions, where he leads the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies to strengthen Eastern Standard Provisions’ market presence including brand strategy, digital marketing, direct-to-consumer and retail sales, data analytics, consumer experience, and product development. Through his leadership, Randy built the direct-to-consumer channel from the ground up, growing the channel over 1200% in 3 years; diversified the business into retail, growing to 2,700+ retail doors, with nationwide launches in Whole Foods and Costco; and spearheaded strategies that fueled a remarkable 1,272% growth over the last three years, catapulting Eastern Standard Provisions to the #451 spot on the Inc 5000 list for 2023.

Most recently, Randy was Senior Vice President of Global Brand Marketing at Funrise toy company where he led the global vision, strategy and go-to-market execution for Funrise’s portfolio of licensed and original IP brands. While at Funrise, Randy acquired multiple global toy licenses from major studios including Disney, Warner Bros. & Paramount and created and launched two successful original toy brands. He also developed Funrise’s original IP, Rainbow Butterfly Unicorn Kitty, into a full animated series and led the negotiation and sale of the global TV distribution rights to Nickelodeon and free-to-air networks.

Prior to joining Funrise, Randy was Senior Vice President of Franchise Management at Lionsgate where he established the company’s internal consumer products and licensing division, leading the franchise strategy, planning, and monetization of Lionsgate’s entertainment properties. Before Lionsgate, Randy was Chief Marketing Officer for Muze Clothing, a direct-to-consumer apparel company, where he led marketing initiatives including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and CRM to maximize reach and engagement.

Randy was also Vice President of Consumer Products at DreamWorks Animation, leading global toy licensing and North American retail strategy for DreamWorks’ consumer products, where he secured and managed long-term licensing deals with major toy companies including Mattel, Hasbro, and Spin Master, and launched high-impact retail programs with key retailers including Walmart, Target & Toys R Us. He also held the position of Vice President of Global Brand Management at video game company THQ, overseeing the global Kids and Family portfolio of original IP and licensed brands including Disney Pixar, Nickelodeon, Marvel and NBC. 

He has also led global brand management at Hasbro, leading Lucasfilm and Marvel global brand management, product development, and consumer marketing initiatives for Star Wars, Hulk, Iron Man, and Marvel’s classic and collector brands, and Electronic Arts, leading global brand marketing for multiple EA SPORTS brands including Madden NFL Football, College Football, and College Basketball.

Randy has a B.A. in Business Management and MBA with a concentration in Marketing from Clark University.
